Is it hooked up with HDMI cable?

If so try unplugging the HDMI cable and re plugging the cable in, sometimes those cables work loose and if they are not tight, it will cause your screen to flicker. Happens to my TV once in awhile.

SOURCE: Polaroid 37 in LCD TV

There is not a good solution. If you read about the Polaroid 37" LCD HDTV, you have a problem and it's the same one that many of us have. According to Polaroid's service center, the control box needs to be replaced. Polaroid does not stand by this product. The company gives you a lot of lip service about how many they sell and how few problems they have - they're lying. The TV's should be recalled and I'd suggest you join many of us to demand it. Write BBB, write the company where you bought the TV, write any consumer group you can think of - Polaroid TV's are junk. Sorry you've got one. Sounded like a good deal and Polaroid used to manufacture quality - no more.

SOURCE: Hi I have a Toshiba 42HL196 (24" LCD TV), about

As stated by the previous expert the fault is clearly a lowering of value of a capacitor or in some cases an IC or semiconductor. You can use a heater to SIMULATE the board in different section when the set to put ON and confirm the right place to where you can checck to replace suspected capacitors.-- in TCON or worse the LCD itself.

How To Play Video In My LCD TV.

Your LCD TV requires an input socket. Either by 3 each RCA females, or a DIV "In", or a High Def "in" connector. All of the above are located at the rear or bottom of the LCD TV. The 3 RCA inputs are also often in front or side of the TV for easy access. You can't play video unless it has those inputs.

Rca

Check your power outlet for any loose contacts. Look for any loose contacts in RC jacks/sockets/Cable. Try changing the input device to something you are sure, works such as a DVD player.

Not able to connect my cable reciver to my rca L32HD31R

  1. Connect the RCA Output on you Cable Receiver to the RCA Input on your RCA TV, taking note of which Input you plugged into, e.x. DVD, GAME, etc.
  2. Turn on your Cable Receiver, and your TV.
  3. On your RCA TV, change the Input to the Input you plugged your Cable Receiver into.
  4. You should now be able to change channels using your cable box, and view it on your TV.

32 inch LCD sharp tv switches audio from mono to sterio every 4 to 5 min

When you are connecting this television to a signal source with a coax cable this happens. The solution is to connect with an RCA/composite cable instead and utilize the television's inputs instead of using input tv.

The vizio e322vl headphone jack is not documented by Visio. There is an "Audio" spot next to "RGB PC" and I tried various jack sizes b none works. If you have a soulution, can you...

that audio jack is input only it is stereo jack to connect from the comptuer to the tv when using the RGB input. most headphone jacks if they are there would be on the side of flat panel tvs. otherwise the audio output may be digital(optical) or normal rca (red and white) that you can hookup to the headphone system.

Hello. I just connected my polaroid 32 in LCD HDTV to my computer and there is no sound? I played around with the audio settings on my computer but no luck. How can I fix that? thanks!

You'll need to run an audio cable from your computer's sound card to the TV as well. Depending on your TV's inputs, you will have to get a cable that has a 1/8" stereo plug on one end and either RCA male or 1/8" stereo plug on the other (depends on whether your TV has a 1/8" audio input for the computer connection or RCA inputs.

Hi! name's wesley. anyways, here's the problem. i just bought a new samsung 32' lcd tv and everything is great except for one thing: when i connect my ps2 to the "av 2" input, the sound comes out...

There is a problem with the AV2 input. Since this is a new set, return it for repair or exchange. DO NOT open it up as that would void the warranty.
