Problem for HP Compaq Presario V3000T PC Notebook

Motherboard unable to pass 'post'

i have a compaq notebook(presario v3000)wid amd turion processor.and nvidia graphix card..........for past few days it was turning on intermittently.so i took it to a HP service centre...the said that the motherbord is unable to pass 'post'......so what should i do could u reccomend me?
