Trouble loading my hero game

clean the cache. highlight over your drive. then hit y. select the clear/clean cache whatever it says there. mine was just doing this.....cleaning the cache seems to have made it feel better since my movie is playing now

Yes it will delete all your saved data.

You want to keep the data, so you need an external storage device (memory card, flash drive and so on). Copy the data on the device. If anything happens to the PS3, you still have your data on the device. When you restore the PS3, you can put back the data.

Try starting the game without the memory card. If it starts up then you know that you have a bad memory card.

I had the same problem and it had me really freaked out. What I did was go into the playstation store and re-download every GHWT DLC you've purchased. It worked for me hope it works for you. Lemme know how it turns out for you.

Fallout 3 freezing is an unfortunately common problem. A lot of people have reported that clearing the game cache on your 360 will fix it, so that's what I would suggest you try first.

To do this:

1. start up your 360, then take out the Fallout 3 game disc.
2. Hold down the A button on the Player 1 controller
3. Put Fallout 3 in your 360, then load the game

If this doesn't fix it, the next thing you could try is to clear the system cache. This will clear the entire cache for your 360, including the automatic updates (though downloaded content, save files, and user dats will be untouched).

To do this:

1. Navigate to System > Memory
2. Highlight the hard disk in the list and press Y
3. Press X, X, LB, RB, X, X

If done right, you should see a message asking, "perform system maintenance?" Proceed with this, and it will clear all the cache data out and revert Fallout 3 back to version 1.0 (it should ask you to update once you load the game)

Hope this helps - I've had my share of frustration with Fallout 3 glitches.

It could be a corrupted save file.  Something similar happened to me.  If your game freezes too much while loading a file it can become permanently corrupted.  You should back up your save data on a flash drive or other device.  As for your problem, i'm not sure the cause.  Perhaps you should try other games

Solution: Wii Console needed to download a software upgrade from the web to run Guitar Hero World Tour. Internet connection in our home is via a Linksys ADSL wireless router. Entered Wii Setup menu (select Wii button on bottom left of screen). Changed Connection 1 from None to Wireless. Wii picked up the SSID broadcast from the router. Did a Test Connection which worked. Wii Console prompted me to 'download Wii System Upgrade from Web?'. Clicked OK. Download took approx 10 mins. On completion of download Guitar Hero World Tour loaded automatically. Note: I have read that the Wii uses wireless protocol 802.11b. Make sure your router has both 802.11g and 802.11b enabled or 802.11b only for the duration of the download. Best of luck.

I had the same problem.....new guitar hero game would not read the disk.....I unplugged it....cleaned the laser with a q-tip and windex....it now works fine.

you might have corrupted the game,as in turned it off before is done saving.
