Something you may want to try is start from the beginning. Check to make
sure there are no other bluetooth devices loaded onto your phone that
might interfere with the process. Turn off your phone. Disconnecting the
battery of your mobile for 30 seconds and reconnecting helps to reset
the phone. The instructions for turning off the headset and re-pairing
the two devices are located in the following link for the Plantronics
Discovery 925 User's Guide.
You want to make sure that there is no other bluetooth interference
on your phone and follow the instructions on the link for the

Yes, there is a way to adjust the volume on your Discovery 925 headset.

Sounds like you have a bum unit. Plantronics gives a 1 year warranty with every wireless product, I'd send it back.
Have you made sure that you're turning it on correctly? You push the call answer button and hold it down for about 3 - 5 seconds before it turns on, until the blue light turns on. Make sure that you don't hold it longer than that or it will go into pairing mode.

The round portion that has the smaller hole in the center, with the small extension, goes into your ear. The squarish loop then needs to be rotated to out, so that it is "hooked" into the curve of your ear. Try different sizes to get the right fit of the loop (the bodies are identical).
I've had the same problem where no one is able to hear me. I finally discovered by looking at the opening where the mic is that it was plugged up with debris. I took a soft brush (toothbrush) and cleaned the debris from the opening and and like magic it cleared it up. Everyone said I sounded fine and clear. Make sure the opening is clear of any debris and remember not to put the narrow part of the headset where the mic is located inside your ear canal. Use a cotton swab to clean your ear (lol)
I hope this helps
