My Gateway PC screen is completely black;it says that there is no signal. My computer is running perfectly;it's just the monitor.I followed the owner's manual to a "T" but still had no results.I phoned Gateway support and was told that the issue is most likely a graphics card problem. They said for a fee they could mail me out one and verbally guide me via phone as to how to connect the card to my pc.Question's:Any suggestions where I can purchase a graphics card besides Gateway? They want to charge me 70$ plus shipping.I have no clue if that is a fair price. And how would I go about how to connect the card myself?Any online tutorials? Thanks!
-   I have the xfx ge force 6200 on a biostar mob and recently reloaded winxp. Boy was i in for headaches with this card. It just kept giving the bsod and at times monitor did not receive messages. I used to have the same problem before, but woth the older 81.98 drivers. I downloaded "nv4_disp error fix"(nv4loopfix.zip 0.54mb) and had no problems afterwards, until now, after reloading. I installed the 178.24 driver and that was the start of headaches. I uninstalled and reinstalled the older driver, but same problems. To get some functionality, i set hardware acceleration in the display to none and the computer is working again. But forget about watching videos and anything that requuires high def graphics.
That card is totally disgusting and the manufacturer just dosent care. DONT BUY NVIDIA!!!!!!!!

-   I have a PC made by Tiny. the graphic card installed is fx5200lp for some time it has come up with a blueish tint to the screen and then goes normal for a while and also does not turn the L.C.D monitor on.The other day i was using the PC as normal it was shut down at night and the next day when i turned on PC had a message on the screen NO INPUT SIGNAL i have tried to rectify this by buying a new V.G.A. lead but the same message appeared. I opened up PC removed graphic card and made sure it was seated in the correct position still having no luck. I have been to several retailers to obtain a new graphics card but get conflicting advice. Two of the capacitors seem to be rounded at the top where the rest are flat is this an indication that the card made now be faulty. any helpful advice would be appreciated-   CH1PPY

-   after booting up my pc i got a green screen? suggesting my onboard graphics card gone bad right. so i put one in from my other pc in it, now after booting i got a display saying the resoulation too low then it just freezes.-   lilbinns
It's a fair price for a general graphics card just to get a display back on your computer, and that's not too bad considering it includes shipping, but the prices of different models vary a lot.
There'll be plenty of online tutorials such as this:
But before you do so, sometimes you don't get a display output because your monitor is plugged into the wrong VGA port. Look at the back and see if there is another of the same port located below where it is currently plugged in, if there is one - plug it in there and try again.

I'm trying to install this program and it says I don't have the DVC100 disk or something, am I supposed to have bought a seperate disk to install it? Also when it gets to the part where I can "Select total recording time: Automatic, Good Better or Best" the section won't let me type in the minutes to "Start Recording" The camera I'm trying to get the videos off of is a Sony TRV57 it's pretty old- is this why I'm having the problem, is my camera too old to work with this software?

Just installed the e-Geforce 6200 to replace an original equipment bad graphics card on Dell 4600 (2.6GHz, 2 Meg RAM, Win XP). Having a terrible time with problems with scrolling delay and choppiness. Either with mouse wheel or scroll bar. With scroll bar sometimes even get a short hourglass. Screen paint is slow and screen scrolls as if it were multiple pages not one big page. Occurs with IE as well as some MS applications such as Word. Tried IE with and without Smooth Scrolling with no difference. This delay is really frustrating and makes it hard to use this PC.
