Yes it is time to buy a new carberator unless you know someone who can make and install bushings in the trottle plate shaft, and choke shaft. What normally happens over time is the shaft wears into the housing as it is being used which allows ecsessive air into the fuel air mixer which causes inproper run conditions and no matter how much you adjust all the settings you cannot overcome this condition so its either get new bushings made and installed or purchase a new carberator. So it won't activate the starter motor either?
If so then sounds like a safety switch issue.

If starter goes and it just won't start, then sounds like your fuel got cut off - check the fuel cutout solenoid that some ride-ons have on the carb - follow its wire back to the ignition switch and look for shorts / breaks etc.

John deere L108.drives for about 2 minutes mowing and stops.leave for about 15 mins and will go again.puffs of smoke when put under load

The puffs of smoke when you put the machine under a load make me think that your carburetor is loading up and needs to be adjusted. Adjust the fuel/air adjustment screws on the carb until it runs properly.

Whats causes my john deer 2010 gas to run onily with choke out ? Had carb rebuilt and tank cleaned. will low compression cause this?

i have seen about 4 of these have the solenoid on the bottom of the carb stuck closed was able to clean 3 out of the 4 there not cheap so try hard to clean it also had a few briggs engines have bad safety switches shut them off so check for power and ground

I have a john deere push mower JX85. It is running rough is there an adjustment

It is possible if you cleaned the carb you may have upset something. You could have dirt in the carburetor jet. Also make sure you have the right spark plug and that you have it set properly. Also the right gas. Has anything abnormal happened to this machine? Does it run rough in idle? then advance the idle adjustment.

Where can I get a new carb four 2010 john deere not rebuild .will not start when worm.

You should be able to get a new carb from any john Deere dealer.You may want to check the tractor for fire when it's warm,you may have a coil breaking down when warm due to the oil has leaked out over the years.I would check to see if you have spark or not before buying a new carb.
