I am using media window to download music to my mp3 sansa e250 the trouble is when i add more music to it the music that is already stored after it finish downloading to the mp player it will automatically start deleting my files that are already on my mp3 am i doing something wrong
I would stop using the program that you are using. Instead, and this is what I like to do, when you connect your mp3 player to your computer, and you open "My Computer," your mp3 player should pop up like a hard drive. Open it, and drag - and - drop your files from your music folder.
It's a lot faster to do this.

To put music on your Sansa e250 you will do this:
Download Windows Media Player 9 or 10 to your computer.
I would use Media Player 10 as it is the newer player.
After you download Media Player 9 or 10 open it up on your computer, and then hook up your mp3 player, it should be recognized by Media Player and then you can transfer the songs to it.
You need to put the music cd in your computer cd player and download the songs to Media Playeer using Windows Media Player 9 or 10.
I have also included a website where you can download the user manual, it will say e200, but the instructions are also for the e250.
Good Luck, I hope this helps.

You have to use Windows Media Player to transfer songs from your computer to the Sansa. If the songs are already on your computer, then you are good to go. Just open up Windows Media Player, click on the sync tab, and then drag files to the sync area, and click Start Sync. If the songs are not already there, do yourself a favor - only sign up to a music service that gives you the songs in mp3 format. WMA's are too problematic, and will lead you to ask a million questions and deal with a million problems. Stick to Mp3 format only, and you should be good to go.
The easiest way to do it is to use windows media player...open up your windows media player and it F3 then add all your files to your library,,,then hit the sync tab..drag the songs your want to add to your mp3 player under the sync list...then just hit sync when you finish
Do you know if windows media player recognized your device? if windows media player does, i would recommend you to format the device using windows media player...to format your device have it connected and open up WMP,click on the sync tab the your device will be listed on the left side..then all you have to do is right click and format the device..that should work..
Once that is downloaded and installed, open it, plug your Sansa into the computer by USB cable, click "Add media". Then you should see a window that says "Add media" Select the media you want to put on your Sansa. Once the media is added, then click "Convert". After it is finished converting, it should be on your Sansa. Hope that helps!
You could try opening the folder(s) with your saved music and highlight all the ones you want to transfer to your mp3 player and then right click on one of the highlighted files, left click on Copy, then go to My Computer > Sansa e250 mp3 player should be listed in there, double click on it, then right click in a open white area and left click Paste. It should copy the music right to your player. You could also try using Rhapsody and import your music into it. I use Rhapsody for transferring music to my e250 Sansa mp3 player.
If you are using Windows Media Player you can use that. Depends on which version you are using.
How to Videos are here;
OR you can manually manage the music thru My Computer>Device Name (e250)>Music Folder.
Please add to the question if that didnt work.
