Question about Televison & Video
I have a sony grand wega kf60xbr800 i turn it on then after about 30sec it turns off the standby light flash 34 times and starts the clycle over.
The only reference I can find to a 34 blink code says it means the power block needs to be replaced. You can order that here: http://www.nexttronics.com/catalog/sony/1/146851015.htm#%3E%3Cbr%3E%3Cbr%3E%3Cform%20method=post%20action= However, I can't be sure that's accurate, so I don't know if it's a good idea to invest that much money into replacing it.

It's likely to be a fault with the TV, the flashing light may be a fault code. Check your warranty out with the manufacturer, if you have a valid warranty, get it returned and repaired. If you do not have a valid warranty, ask them what the standby flashing 34 times would signify, they should give you some insight as to what needs to be done to fix it. It's likely to be a safety feature, in which the TV shuts itself off to prevent any damage.
