Sounds like your battery isn't taking a charge. Not a big deal as long as you purchsed a protection plan when you bought it. Most cel carriers will cover everything but water damage if you bought the warranty.
OUCH! This sounds like really bad news for you. It may be just a loose connection or it could be that the screen is totally ruined. Your best bet is taking it in for repair to see if it can be salvaged.
If you take lower resolution photos on the Diamond, especially photos for contacts, they aren't as big as the other photos, so you must zoom in for them to fill the whole screen. For that, simply do a half circle clockwise motion on the picture itself.
Also, if you took larger photos with the camera on it's side, you must turn it to it's side again so the picture goes back to landscape mode.
Hope that helps! Should you have any further questions,

I did a hard restart and it fixed the problem. Had to re enter all my info but has been good ever since. I tried just for kicks to put in the sd card again. Found that it must be to big of memory because it happened again. Thanks
On the rx3715, the background on the Today screen can be changed from Settings>Today. From there various themes can be selected and used. Also, if there is another picture I want to use as my background, I can browse and select it from the same screen.
