Question about Mitsubishi WS-55809 55" Rear Projection Television
The on and off switch continues to blink. No picture. model #ws65513
Dude I have a ws-55859 and its doing the same thing I had a repair man look at it and said they are know for doing this, it is the digital transiters and the parts are cheap only a couple of bucks a peice ( I have 7 in mine), but he want 175 to 200 to put them in, they are all on the same board.

Thank you Pual.I've allready had them replaced and you are correct that was the problem with mine too.I'm an aircraft mechanic but figured I'd let a pro fix it and it was under $200 in home repair.Didn't think that was too bad.Thank you for the info anyways. The repairman said it is a common problem with this model.Hopefully this info can help others.Thank you again,Dan.

I had the same problem with my Mitsu WS-55613 this past Saturday. I found instructions online for replacing the bad capacitors on the DM module, and it's working great now. See my post at http://www.highdefforum.com/showthread.php?t=58189 and / or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I'll email the instructions to you - complete w/photos..
PS: It's not as hard as it sounds. ;-)
