Can i play my mp3 HDD through the Unit speakers

Play from USB device This unit can only play/view MP3, WMA, DivX (Ultra) or JPEG ? les that are stored on such devices.

Your display board has gone south. sorry. All you can do is try to replace it if you find one. Maybe you can pick up a parts unit cheap on ebay.

i have purchased philips dvd and philips home theater 5.1 3300w model. how to connet to the home theater to dvd and tv. because i miss my home theater manual book.

Turn unit off and unplug, then plug back in and keep finger on eject button, and then hit the power button.  Nothing?  Get your phillips screwdriver and remove the shell.  Then retrieve you disc.  While your in there look for signs of a burned capacitor off the ic port chip and take a little glass cleaner and clean the optical lens with a micro fiber cloth.

1. Press DVD "OPEN/CLOSE" key on remote Control (R/C) or main set to open the DVD door (note: if no disc on tray, then no need to open the door);
2. Press R/C numeric key sequentially 9735 (entry code, no display on TV), enter DVD region code setup menu.
3. Press R/C "down direction" or "up direction" key to change REGION CODE,"0" is all code.
4. Press R/C "OK" key to confirm.
5. Press R/C "SYSTEM" key to exit DVD system setup menu

Philips hifi systems only support flash memory sticks or MP3 players which show up as flash memory sticks.

SA5125 is not compatible

There's a little bit of work involved, but what you should do is to record those tracks individually as folders, then transfer those to your DVD burner...accordianman

Try not to use any rental dvd discs or dvd burner discs. Go get a brand new dvd movie(again,do not burn a DVD disc and play in this unit.) and put it in see if it works? Should have at least 2-3 movies for testing.
If you have tried to put in some BRAND NEW DVD movies and still doesn't work,you have a problem with the unit.
