Drive not working properly

delete your conflict device from device manager, turn off you pc. replace your cd drive data cable . then restart your pc. good luck

Uninstall the drivers from device manager.
then Click start then Run and in the run box type regedit. once the registry editor is open go to /HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CURRENTCONTROLSET\CONTROL\CLASS then on the right hand side delete anything that says upperfilters and lowerfilters. exit out of rigistry and restart the computer. the driver should be working good.

right click the device in device manager and uninstall, reboot your system, reinstall the driver. Check the mfg. site for updated drivers. Update as needed.

Delete the drive from device manager. Reboot. If necessary check for driver updates and try disconnecting disbaling anything that could be conflicting with it.
