Lens errors are fairly common. Usually it's sand or grit interfering with the lens extension mechanism. Or the camera's been dropped with the lens extended. Or the camera has been powered on, but the lens had been blocked preventing its extension. Or the battery ran down with the lens extended ...

Here's some things that you can do to try to correct it. They only seem to work for less than 50% of the lens errors, but if the camera is out of warranty, they're worth a try:

Hi,

Above is the link of Kodak's Helpdesk wherein you can browse for some tip. Since the camera was accidentally dropped, I believe you need to consult this matter to your nearest Authorized Dealer.

Thank you.

Unfortunately due to lack of spear parts for this particular model KODAK no longer repairs this model.

Error E45

Turn your camera on and smack the camera against your hand. The E45 error means your lens is stuck. The lens on my V603 was stuck open, when I smacked it against my hand it closed and now works fine. Give that a shot.

Kodak af 7.0 mega pixels

check to see if the part of the lens that pops out the most is partially indented. if so, pull it out of the indent so that it returns to normal. if that isn't the problem then i'm sorry but i cant help you. best of luck.:]
