The top cleaned and locked, bottom locked and read that it is
unavaiable for cleaning .

Either BOTH cannot clean at the same time b/c they heat to 700deg and use alot of power, OR the 'Door secure' signal from the bottom oven is not getting to the controller. I suspect if that is the case, the switch is on the inside of the door, activated by the LOCK lever moving into locked position. It may be a beny switchlever, mis-adjusted LOCK lever or solenoid or disconnected wire.

If you leave the TOP open and force a clean, does the bottom lock and do nothing? (My other theory)

Cleaned bottom oven. Top oven door won't open

Hi,
Cycling the power off and then on again will sometimes reset it...often you will have to call the customer service number to get the steps to take to unlock that...

Maytag double oven is locked and won't open

Hi. Has a fault code been displayed and a continuous beeps? press and hold the cancel & cook & hold buttons together for about 3seconds then door should open.
Hope this helps.

I believe this is because it takes a while for your oven to cool down (the cleaning cycle uses a very high temperature to burn up the grease and food). The timer is how long it takes before it will be cool, at which time the oven will unlock.

Self cleaning oven

Pheo,
Turn Breaker/Fuse for the stove, your electrical panel, “OFF” and then “ON”, wait 20 - 30 seconds and the door should unlock.
It may be that the temp sensor is going out and you'll need to have that looked at soon.
