Problem for Gateway DC-T50 Digital Camera
Gateway DC-T50 digital camera 5.25 megapixels
When the dial is placed on the box with arrow point. I turn the power on and press the menu button and if it does come up, then I arrow down to protect and it will give no choices. It just says protected. Then if you dial to P the LCD screen will show "no card" when the card is properly istalled and the manual lock is not engaged. There has been pictures taken with this card in, but it might jump and show protected card. Is there any hope or answer?

Defective mechanism, a stucked mechanism is present. camcorder are smart it can detects error and shuts down itself for safety. earlier models dominoes the defect if the user is not quick enough to react when something goes wrong with the camera. you need professional service to fix it .
