Question about iRiver iFP-799 MP3 Player
When I turn the mp3 on, it just keeps flashing the IRiver logo screen. Normally, it's supposed to flash the screen initially and then afterwards, show the number of files I have in the mp3. I just loaded in some new songs and then the logo screen will flash on and off and won't allow me to turn on the music. If you could please help me figure out how to solve this, I'd appreciate it. Thanks
This happens when you load a file that has a filename that is extremely long. If you use UMS firmware, you can just connect to the USB cable again, find the long filename and shorten it (use the [F2] key to reduce the name length, but keep the extension to .mp3.)
