Question about Sony Ericsson Universal Bluetooth Hands-free Headset w/ LCD Info Display Akono HBH-660 Headset

1 Answer

Pairing Problem I'm having troubles pairing my Sony Ericsson W810i with the Motorokr S9. It shows that the pairing was sucsesful and the head set works when a call comes in but the music will not stream through it. On the Motorola website it says that the bluetooth headset is compatable with the Sony Ericsson W810i. I've tried re-pairing it and took one set back and got another just incase it was the headset.

My hbh-660 just drops the wireless and switched back to the phone with no notice during the call. Love the headset but hate this proble. Any way this canbe fixed? Have never dropped or abused the headset.

It may be that the phone does not play music through bluetooth and that it only plays through the earphones that come with the phone. The only way to find out is to read the documentation on the phone or try another bluetooth headset, really. The headset cannot be faulty as it pairs correctly and it works with calls. Bluetooth headsets are not really intended for playing music as it drastically reduces battery life.

Need to know process for making my s9(red/black) discoverable

Press and hold the power key (under the red cover) longer than the time required to turn it on, until its indicator light is alternately flashing in red and blue. It is in pairing mode (discoverable) now. Then, make your phone (or computer)'s bluetooth application search for new devices. After a little while, the S9 should appear on-screen. Select it and make it connect. If a pairing code (or PIN, or passkey) is requested, enter '0000' (four zeros). If the pairing process is successful, the S9 should enter the stand-by mode. There could be such an indicaton in your phone (or computer) too.
Hope it works for you.
By the way, if your headset's user guide happens to be missing, feel free to download it from this location.
Anyway, please, let me know if I can help you any further.
Regards, Carlos

I have the droid backflip and my boss has the first droid from verizon, neither can find the bluetooth headphones (motorokr s9 black & red) how can i pair the headset to my phone if i cant find it

Make sure you put the headset into discoverable or pairing mode, there should be specific instructions that came with your head set to do this, then use the droid or the backflip to scan for the devices and it should find them.

How do I put the motorola s9 hd wireless headset in pairing mode for a iPhone 3G ?

Starting with your headset turned off, press and hold the power button for some 6 seconds, until the indicator light flashes alternately in blue and red. It is in pairing mode now. Then, make your phone's bluetooth application search for new devices. After a while the S9 should appear on-screen. Make it connect. If a paring code (or PIN, or passkey) is requested, enter '0000' (four zeros). The indicator light will flash some times and enter stand-by mode.
Hope it works for you.

Trying to connect motorola s9hd to the laptop

assuming you have bluetooth installed on your laptop,
1) you have to disable the bluetooth pairing of your s9 with another device that you may have paired with it earlier - like a mobile phone. disconnect previously paired devices first.
2) turn on the bluetooth feature on your pc and ask it to "search" for devices. assuming your s9 is on standby, your pc should be able to "locate" and pair with it assuming the s9 is within an arms length distance from the computer.
3) make sure that the s9 is completely charged to eliminate that power issues as well

Bluetooth Connection

on the jabra head set press and hold the button for about 3 seconds and then the blue light on the headset should stay illuminated. Then go to your phone and search devices, when your phone finds the jabra, you may have to put in a pairing code normally four noughts, zeros (0000), when inputed the headset blue light should change from a solid light to a intermittent flashing light, showing on your phone that the connection is succesful.
