Screen shows full memory card

Following a download of the card, it was reloaded, and took two pictures and commenced to show that the card was full again. repeated attempts to reset from the menu or to delete individually, only resulted in the deletion of the two pictures mentioned and the screen showing screen showing the card to be full.

I have exactly the same problem.  on my Lumix DMC-FZ5. Only two pictures, then card full. Another card, same company, same size (128MB) is working fine. Hence must be a problem with the card.  Any way to get it back?

    Thanks,

It's quite possible that it's actually taking photos and storing them to the camera's onboard memory and not the memory card, explaining why it gets full so quickly with two pictures and why you can only delete two pictures. Look for a setting to change the storage to the memory card.

MEMORY CARD SHOWING FULL BUT WHEN CAMERA CONNECTED TO DOWNLOAD TO LAPTOP OR DESKTOP ITS SHOWING FREE SPACE AND USED SPACE BUT NOT SHOWING ANY PICTURES AND VIDEOS,

Save the pictures and videos on the card. Try reformatting the card in the computer, and then again using the camera. The first reformat will ensure the card is empty, and then the camera reformat will ensure that it is recognized by the camera. If the camera reformat will not work, try a new card.

I have a no connection message on my camera. its been in the water once but worked after we got out the pool. then it was turned on again and the message came up. i plugged it in my mac and the pictures...

If your camera was submerged, it's likely that corrosion has commenced within the camera. I'm sorry to say that nearly all cameras that have suffered water damage are unrepairable as corrosion strikes at many points within the camera. However the memory card is much more durable. Remove it from the camera. Consider purchasing an inexpensive card reader to use with your computer to download your photos from it.

My Fujifilm s5000 camera turns on but when I go to take a picture it turns off. I can view my pictures but can't take any.

Your memory card or internal memory may be full. I've run into situations where the card full doesn't flash on the monitor or LCD screen because there is lets say 3 gigs of memory left but the picture you are taking is 3.5gig's it won't take the picture because there isn't enough memory to put the image anywhere. Download your pictures to your computer, format your memory card and all should be good again. If you are using the internal memory you will need to obtain (buy) a memory card for your camera and download from the internal memory each picture from the memory card one by one until all the internal pictures are on the removable memory card then download these to the computer. After you have them on the computer go back into the internal memory and delete each of thse pictures and you are ready to start taking pictures once again. it took me longer to type this then the process will take to do.

My computer has stopped downloading photos from my Finepix S8100fd. Have tried reloading the software that came with the camera. The reloading of the software seems to go perfectly but I still cannot...

I assume you're following the instructions in the manual.  If so, search your computer for connected drives - in Windows, just (double) click on 'My Computer'.  If the camera is connected, it will show up as if it's just another drive.

Open it - double click on it - then each folder in turn until a bunch of picture files show up.  Copy and paste that last folder to your hard disk and open the files in the usual way, with your ordinary picture viewer, not the Fuji software.

If the camera doesn't show up, remove the memory card and use a USB card reader - preferably borrowed - just as if it's the camera, as described above.

If that doesn't get your pictures onto the computer, you have either a camera or USB problem and it's time to get professional help.

If you are able to get your pics. downloaded, rename the copied folder on your hard drive, select all the files on the camera/card - NOT the folders - and delete them.  You now have a useable, empty memory card and all your pics in a meaningfully-named folder on your computer, and you're back in business.

For my money, the Finepix software is rubbish, anyway - and a card reader is usually quicker to download and doesn't use up your batteries!  Fuji's support site should be able to help you get back in business when you have time to research/e-mail them, though.

Using Internal Memory...now says memory full, no image!

I own the same camera, Not sure about no pictures showing in the memory but you can get a 2 gig memory card for around $20 in stores or around $15 or $16 on ebay, holds over 700 pictures at the highest resolution. Also try to download your pictures to your computer if you haven't already. Hope this helps.

DOWNLOAD PICS AGAIN

Hello,

You say again, so have you reinstalled the twain drivers? And, do you have full administrator rights. When you right click on a picture to drag it to your destination folder try the user Administrator Rights.
