Re: Service Problems

Try manually selecting a network with different SIM cards in - it may not be automatically selecting a network. Failing that, the phone may be an import, or it may be locked to one particular network. Either of which may be the cause of your problem. Let me know how it goes.

Okay i have tmobile service but i broke my phone and my mom bought me a tracfone to put my sim card in, but it says sim lock code. So i guess my question is that is there anyway i can use my tmobile sim...

Well like most carries I believe tracfone will not let you use a tmobile sim card because the phone is locked to tracfone only. Typically you could unlock your phone to use with any service provider that uses sim cards. However I do not have the process instructions for your particular phone model.

You can purchase unlocked phones on, ebay etc. If you are satisfied with your tmobile service perhaps you could always get a tmobile phone.

Post back if you have any further questions. Thank you for choosing Fixya.

Bought a Lebara sim card today but when i put it in my phone nothing came up about lebara it possible that the phone is to old to recognise a new sim card?

Hope you're having a good day
It is highly unlikely that a phone would not recognise a SIM card. It doesn't really matter how old. Please could you let me know your phone model so I could help you further?

No network coverage

Phone is not receiving any radio signal / received signal is too weak:
Confirm that network coverage is available where you are by contacting your service provider.

SIM card is not working properly:

Insert your SIM card into another phone
Note: Contact your service provider if you get the same message again.
Phone is not working properly:
Insert your SIM card into another phone. If the second phone works with the inserted SIM card, then
the problem is probably with the first instrument.

Note: In this case, contact your nearest Sony Ericsson service center regarding your phone problem.

I have a motorola w376 and tracfone is the service provider, but i want to use my cingular sim card in it. When i put my cingular sim in the tracfone it asks for a subsidy password. I have contacted...

The service provider does have access to the unlock codes for the phones. There are companies and programs that you can get that will give you the code, but these charge a fee usually. Try this, tell them you are traveling to another country and want to use a local sim card. Since this is a prepaid phone they should give you the unlock code anyway, you paid full price for the phone and they are legally obligated to provide you with it in most cases.

I have a motorola w375 phone that is locked to net10 and I have been told that you can't unlock these phones, but in my tools section there is a sim application to unlock the phone, I am looking for a way...

Net10 phones only work with Net10 service. If you need to get a new SIM, you needn't unlock your phone. Just call customer service for the new SIM.... if the old one is defective.

I need sim pin 2 for my motorola w375

You can find your sim's PIN2 in your Sim pack, along with your PIN1, PUK1 & PUK2.
Try to look it up in your Sim pack, it should be's either at the back of your Sim card or is written in a small folded paper which is sealed.

Puk code for a motorola w375

Sir, as explained earlier - you will need to contact your service provider to get the Puk code - it is a code that is burnt into your SIM card - I understand that they say they are unable to do this right now, but it is not a code on the phone - you will need to BUY a new sim card to make your calls sir.

the reason it's asking for puk is you entered the wrong sim code more the 3 times.
Is this even your phone?

sorry to hear that ...take the phone to a mobile service center and have them reflash the firmware on the phone to bring it back to life.
