Where the eraser is located, grab the metal and black plastic area that holds the eraser and pull on it to take out the entire eraser chamber. Once out, that is where the lead refill goes. Put in the lead and pop back the eraser chamber and that is it!

press the pencil lead dispensor button... (the one you press when you want more lead to protrude).
turn the exit point UP and insert new lead.
turn right side up and write away!I too love the mechanical pencils

pull the eraser out and put it in the end if that doesnt work pull the part holding the eraser and it should come out.

Got it, thanks to the chap at OfficeWorks. Take the plastic cover off the eraser at the top of the pencil. Then wiggle the eraser out of its seat. Then you will find a hole going down the centre of the pencil, under where the eraser was. Drop a couple of leads into there, put the eraser back in, put the eraser cover on and Bob's your Uncle.

To load more lead into the Zebra Z Grip mechanical pencil you must follow these steps:
1. Use the extra provided lead or purchase a refill package in 0.7mm size. 2. Remove the plastic cap that covers the eraser on the end of the pencil. 3. With the cap removed, gently tug the eraser out of the end. 4. When the eraser is removed, place a few pieces of lead into the open tube. 5. Insert the eraser. 6. Replace the cap on the end of the pencil. 7. Depress the end of the pencil a few times to feed the lead through the tip. 8. Write!
