Re: my dash didn't save radio channels? what i have to...

If you leave the radio off for too long, or if the car battery dies, it will not have the power to store the radio channels and you will have to save them again. If neither of these has happened then it may be down to a small battery inside the radio that is used to keep the radio channels saved on the chipset of the radio that is not holding a charge. Or it may be a small faulty memory module on the radio that will not allow you to save the radio channels - in which case, check your warranty on the item and return it if it is under warranty.

My radio is asking for a password and i dont remember it how do i bypass this?

Try searching on eBay for the radio make and model and "unlock code"

They will ask you for the radio's serial number and they'll email you the code. Usually costs between 5 to 10 quid. If you do it through eBay you'll get their buyer protection on the chance that the code doesn't work and the seller won't refund.

There are others that will do the same outside of eBay too.

How do you set a radio station to a place?

I would assume that this Jensen should store stations much like other cars. Find the radio station you want, press and Hold the button in until you hear the radio start again. Note- If you installed the radio your self and didn't hook up the power correct, the programed radio stations will be lost when the vehicle is shut off! Hope this helps!

Best Wishes and Good Luck!

How do I upload images to my deck from my usb drive and how do I make the image my background?

Make sure you are not listening to a CD or the USB device while trying to upload! Select something like the radio as the active source!
It can only load .jpg. Also, the images are stored on the USb drive, except for the on you upload as a background. That one is saved on the unit itself.

Go to settings on the menu at the right, then "User Interface". Under "User Background" select "Memory".
Select the folder your picture is in and then the picture itself.

I have a quick question about YOUR specific unit. Does it display your MP3s on the USB device in numerical order? Mine always display them in alphabetical track title order, which is dumb.
I'm afraid my unit is defective...

What do i need to get the xm radio to work

U need to order the Terk XMD1000 Direct XM Tuner Box. Its Search on the internet for it.I bought mine on Cost is 49.99. Its comes with the antenna and box. Your XM radio code is on the box. Go aline and setup an account with SiruisXM and its going to ask for that code. once you do that. Ensure you are not under any cover to get a good signal and it will tell you to go to a certain channel. Then you will be pulled in. if you have any issue contact me at or I will walk you through. Good luck.

Bypassing ebrake to play dvd's always

Take the emergency brake wire and hook it to a switch,( they cost like 2 bucks at radio shack) Connect that wire to one end of the switch and the other ground under your dash. When you start it all you have to do is flip that switch on then off and your in business. I have almost always seen everyone mount it on the kicker panel on the left side of the center console. You don't have to conceal the switch but i wouldn't put itt out in plain sight. let me know if we get the problem solved

When i turn on my car (vauhxall corsa) i am able to programme radio channels to the buttons, however when i remove the keys from the car i loose all power to the radio and also when turn back on i loose...

There's a wire on the radio that connects to a constantly LIVE 12V circuit. This wire usually has an inline fuse. If this wire has become disconnected, or if the fuse blew, or if the fuse supplying the area that this wire is connected to has blown, you'll lose all memory capability on the radio.

Check the fuses in your car's fuseblock for a blown fuse. If you can't find anything blown, check the inline fuse described earlier. My guess is that you'll find one of these is causing the problem.

Let me know what happens. Please rate accordingly.
