Make sure XP service packs and security are uptodate. If still does not work, uninstall and re install from genuine software cd.
Download Belarc.com and it will give you the status of your system. Is great and free.

I have been using eCopy on my laptop computer with Windows XP. I had to get a new computer wihich has Windows 7. I cannot get eCopy to print to a pdf. For some reason the program will not print to a pdf...

Try running your program in XP 'compatibility' mode or if you have Windows 7 Ultimate with appropriate CPU, use native W7 'XP MODE' to run your application.

Another good solution is to install a Virtual Machine (VM) and install XP under it to run your non-compatible applications and drivers.

A good free VM that I use myself for this purpose is Oracle VIRTUALBOX whcih incidentally also has excellent USB support (which is lacking in the Microsoft free offering).

Hope it helps and good luck.

Our computer got a problem on loging in every application installed. .i think theres a virus on it. . .im a begginer on computer i want to learn how to format it. . .the application run but in a few hours...

Which application are you talking about?

Ina any event, you probably do not need to reformat it.
The issue may be more to do with profile corruption.
Create a new log in user (Go To Control Panel through the link on your start menus, find User Accounts, and then add a new one.)

Once you have done this, restart your computer and use this log in instead of your original one.
See if the problem has gone away now.

If it hasnt and you believe you have a virus, update your AntiVirus program, assuming you have one, and instruct it to run a full scan. Then leave the computer alone for 3 or 4 hours to let it run.

Can i install windows-xp on my laptop which is currently working on windows-7 and use both of them.

Hi,
Yes you can install windows xp in windows 7.
Windows XP Mode is a virtual PC image of Windows XP Service Pack 3 that could be run on Windows 7 Professional, Enterprise or Ultimate versions. Applications installed into Windows XP Mode could be run in Desktop Mode or Seamless Mode. In Seamless Mode, applications appear to run natively within Windows 7, but they are actually running inside the Windows XP virtual machine. Windows XP Mode might also provide additional integration that traditional Virtual PC images might not be giving. Applications installed on the Windows XP image could be exposed to the Windows 7 Start menu. Applications run in seamless mode is having automatic access to the Windows 7 known folders like Documents, Pictures, Desktop, Music, etc. Also the Cut-and-paste is enabled between native Windows 7 applications and those running in Windows XP Mode. Applications running in Windows XP Mode might also access your Windows 7 network connection and USB devices.

I bought keyboardworks v1.1 it worked fine for my old xp computer. Now I switched to windows 7 and it does not work. Any fixes?

Since this software was designed to work with Windows XP or earlier. It may not run in windows 7 normally, but you can run this application in Compatibility mode.

Windows 7 comes with Program Compatibility troubleshooter, using which you can run older programs in compatibility mode.
To run the Program Compatibility troubleshooter

1. Open the Program Compatibility troubleshooter by clicking the Start button and then clicking Control Panel.

2. In the search box, type troubleshooter, and then click Troubleshooting.

3. Under Programs, click Run programs made for previous versions of Windows.

4. This would scan the computer for incompatible applications and list them, keyboardworks .

5. Click next. this will try running in Windows XP mode.

6. If sucessful save the setting and u should be good to go, else try installing this application in Compatibility mode.

7. right-click choose properties on setup.exe

8. click on compatibility tab. put a check on run this program compatibility mode for and choose windows XP

9. put a check on run this program has administrator. cluick apply and ok and install this application.

10. run the application, if it does not work repeat the steps 1-6.
