I have syncronised photos via media player to my device and as far as the comp and my device are concerned they are on there and the sync has worked. If i go to veiw the pictures on the device it says list empty. I have the photos in the photos folder i have them in my own sub folders but nothing has worked. is there anyway to solve my problem with out formatting my device because i have a lot of music to copy to my comp lol.

Hook up your GoGear with the PC via the supplied USB cable.
Make sure you connect your GoGear micro also to the main power supply.
Launch the version of Windows Media Player 10.0 installed in your computer. Note: Once the device is connected to the computer, all playback or radio will stop.
Check and make sure that the Create folder hierachy on device option is enabled in Windows Media Player. Go to Tools>Options. Select the Devices tab and then highlight GoGear Audio and click Properties
Click OK to close the windows.
Click Sync.
In the Items to Copy pane, in the drop-down list, click the playlist, category, or other item that you want to copy.
Click the check boxes next to any files you want to copy.
In the Items on Device pane, in the drop-down list, click to select PhilipsGoGear to copy files to.
Click the Start Sync button.
The Player verifies that there is sufficient storage space on the device to copy the selected files. If there is sufficient space, the files are converted (if necessary) and copied to the portable device.
Repeat steps 2-5 for any other items that you want to copy to your portable device.
Once the transfer is completed, close the Windows Media Player
Unplug the GoGear from the PC and enjoy the music on your GoGear.
Transfer music via Windows Explorer: Note! You cannot transfer pictures via Windows Explorer, for pictures use Windows Media Player.
Connect your GoGear with the PC via the supplied USB cable. Make sure you connect your GoGear also to the main power supply.
Launch Windows Explorer.
Drag and drop your music files into the music folder of your GoGear.
Once transfer is complete unplug the GoGear from the PC and enjoy the music on the go.

go into the coby media manager
click music
when your list of song comes up, click on a song, right click, then click syncronise.
do that for each song. this syncronises the songs to your player.
it worked for me

Had the exact same problem.
Go into the Coby media manager.
Click Music.
When the list of songs comes up, right click on a song and then click syncronise.
do that for each song.
That wouls syncronise the songs to your player.

Open Windows Media Player WITH the mp3 player connected Highlight Sync, click on the arrow to bring down drop-dow menu Select Set Up Sync Uncheck box that says "automatically sync files to device"
