Try putting the pics into the HDD6330 via My Computer/drag and drop. Windows Media Player doesn't work very well.

How do iget it to work with an apple computer

As far as I know, all new 'Creative' devices sync through their own software and/or through Windows Media Player. These programs only run on Windows, so I suggest that your only option is to install windows on your mac using 'parallels' 'vmware' or 'bootcamp'.

Google each of these names if you need more information.

Short answer: As far as I'm aware 'Creative' devices won't sync with Apple OSX.

now umm just plug the device in and where u see ur device name, just enter the songs below it and sync to ur device or if u wanna take out just drag the unwanted ones onto the comp and just sync with windows to ensure no songs went on ur device and none of the ones u want arent on!!!! GOOD LUCK!!

Philips

Get Windows Media Player: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/11/default.aspx
Just connect your player via USB, and click sync (choose to set up new sync relationship). For questions: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/faq/sync.mspx
Make sure that you leave 5 to 10% of the Gogear empty so it still functions. Also be patient, updating the devices after a sync takes quite some time.

IRiver H10 is full of photos from "My Pictures". Don't know why they syncronised and can't delete them

Disable auto-sync in Windows Media Player - Microsoft's website explains it far better than I can

Open Windows Media Player WITH the mp3 player connected
Highlight Sync, click on the arrow to bring down drop-dow menu
Select Set Up Sync
Uncheck box that says "automatically sync files to device"

Voila!

If you plug in the mp3 player then goto device manger via the control panel (hardware and sound) it will show up there as an uninstalled item. Righ click on it and select update driver and hopefully vista will search and find the apropiate driver for it.

Alternatively try the manufactures website for vista drivers.

Unfortunately not all hardware products are vista compatable yet :(

How do i put photos on?

There is a folder that can be seen in Explorer. For example:

My Computer\Philips HDD63XX GoGear\Media\Pictures

But transferring files this way is futile. There's something about the media player 10 sync process that updates a database on the mp3 player. Media Player 11 doesn't seem to do this correctly. Philips needs to resolve this as new machines are not shipping with version 10 anymore.

Syncing and Library Clear Out

Go into Windows Media Player 11 with your GoGear connected to the computer (it will automatically sync and add new files one last time), move the mouse cursor over to the sync tab; a small black arrow will appear under the word "Sync"; click on the small black arrow and a dropdown menu will appear; select "Portable media device" from the dropdown menu, and another dropdown menu will appear; select "Set Up sync"; a window will appear with some information on your device - uncheck the box that says "Sync this device automatically"; click Finish; This will eliminate the problem of Windows always adding songs/files you don't want into your player.

Freeze while sync

Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.
