Question about A Computer By Design CBDA320 (CBD-A270) PC Desktop
My mouse is behaving irradictly. sometimes it will freeze up all together. but currently it will not click on any icons or web pages or anything. it does however click on the tabs at the bottom of the desktop(the ones that say which program is running). i am running vista 32bit. i just downloaded the new driver and no help.
Although I don't Quite belive it's some Virus/malware/trojan If it is I'd suggest clearing your computer with programs such as NOD 32, AVG, or Spybot Search and Destroy. Never trust Mcfee or norton, their databases are too small, and they barely scan through everything as it is.
First off, delete your drivers for that mouse, use a separate mouse. And go to the makers site (in this case Logitech) Download the latest drivers, install them, THEN plug the mouse back in. If that dosn't work, I have a question which is similar to the "RAM usage" theory. How much Ram do you have and what's your CPU?

If you have another mouse at hand, try that out and see if you get the same problem. If you do get the same problem, it will be a software issue wit hthe operating system, ususally a virus or some other form of malware - or you may just have a lot of programs consuming a lot of CPU cycles and RAM. Try a different mouse, any mouse except a similar one to the MX3000.
