With no apparent incident to damage the dryer - the start switch deployed as usual, but the dryer is now always on. It turns off when the drying cycle ends, but rather than needing the start switch to begin, the dryer starts as soon as it is loaded, cycle chosen and door closed. Heat is fine, but because gas ignition is involved - would like to fix the start switch.

My Zanussi 1480 W doesn't provide any heat for drying. It starts, the drum turns and the timer sequences down by one minute. Power is available on the heating elements although no current appears to be drawn. All the thermostats appear to be serviceable. Does anybody have any knowledge of this model....or a wiring diagram?

I have a Maytag Neptune stackable washer/dryer. The dryer has three cycles. On two of the cycles the heating element turns on but not on the third. The timer advances and the dryer turns on on this nonworking cycle but the heating element does not. Is the timer the problem or something else?
