Finisher not connected

The sensor on the finisher was bent and was not making contact with the bracket on the copier. I found this switch and fixed it.

check the door that the staples go in that door has been known to "stick". make sure also the guides are lined up on the finisher. ..Iv'e seen a few time with that model where even though the finisher looks like it where it should be its not, there is a little peg on the copier that should line up with a hole on the finisher i've seen it where the peg doesnt make it in the hole and the censor that tells the machine the finisher is attached is not activated. To verify its just with the finisher turn the machine off unlpug the machine than disconnect the finisher cable, power the machine back up and make sure its working with out the finisher. Never plug in or disconect the finisher cable while the machine is on this can cause a board to malfuntion.
