The current setting is not working correctly
indicates that the amp setting for the wire is too low or if it is an inverter , the volts setting is far too low

SOURCE: im tryint to conect my wire feeder

ask weld tech at a welding supply store and ask if your components are compatible (since most wire feeders are 24 volts).

SOURCE: Miller S-54D 115V digital wire feeder that does not weld right.

Hi Kevin,
Causes of poor penetration: Travel speed too fast, welding current too low,
poor joint design / and or preparation, electrode diameter too large,
wrong type of electrode, excessively long arc length.
Solutions: Decrease travel speed, increase welding current, increase root
opening or decrease rootface, use smaller electrode, use electrode with deeper
penetration characteristics, reduce arc length.

The arc sputters when welding. Tried changing the electrode tip and checked the ground.

I've had slot of experience with these migs. Usually when the arc sputters, it could mean 2 things, either the roller feed tension is too light, or the liner in the pistol lead is worn. It's the flex tube the wire travels through. If it's worn the wire will hang up or snag, causing the arc to sputter. If you tighten the roller tension, and the wire back-lashes, that's a sign to change the lead. First try adjusting the speed of the wire accordingly to the heat.

My miller sychrowave tig welder is not blowing sheilding gas when it strikes an arc. The gas is on at the tank. I can hear what sounds like gas or a valve opening when I press the foot control, but my...

Remove the tig torch twist lock from the front of the machine. Step on the pedal as if you were striking an arc and gas should flow out of the twist lock port. If gas comes out of the port, your torch probably has a valve built in (many do) often this is a sleeve on the torch body which you rotate but may not be obvious.
If no gas out of port then its the solenoid or regulator.
You do have the machine in TIG mode and not stick?
