If you are using a Windows system:
1. Turn the printer off then back on.
2. Go to Start > Printers and Faxes (in the Control Panel)
3. Right click on your printer and select Properties.
4. Click on the Print Test Page button
5. Does it print? If not, go back to the printers and faxes window and double click on your printer. This will display your print queue.
6. Do you see your test page in the queue? You should and if it is stuck, there's a column for status. This will often tell you what's wrong.
7. If your printer was working before, we know that it is not a driver issue. Worse comes to worse, reinstall your printer based on the instructions provided by the manufacturer.
