My 2000 Nissan Sentra died after I floored it! It will start but dies after a few seconds like it isn't getting enough gas or something, but it is? Can't hook it up to a computer like I used to be able to? The auto parts store guy said it was the wires or I need a new computer? Do I need a new computer for the car or is it something else? Please help! I'm a mom to a preemie baby and I must get to doctors apmnts! Thanks so much!

You prpbably need a new ECM/computer. Nissan had a problem with the ECM box and the foam inside the box. The glue, which Nissan used to attach the foam onto the box EATS up your computer internaly. The vapors from the glue it self damage the ECM/computer. Nissan actually has a campaign to remove the foams out of the ECM box. By the way ECM has 80000 mile warantee, so if your car has less than that, Nissan will replace it for free. I see it all the time. Sentra with heater circuit code
needs an ECM 95% of the time.

First from the fuel tank in side the fuel tank there is filter remove the screws on the top where the fuel gauge fitted when you remove gauge you can see fillter that is one sometimes blocked.

Next if you check fuel filter it is ok, but nissan sunny has fuel filter inside the caburator where fitted fuel pipe from the fillter clean that filler.

ather thiing is check your connections any leak or loose.

it'll either be your ignition system (spark plugs, distributor cap, etc) or more likely your fuel system (most likely your fuel pump or your fuel filter)
