Have you tried pushing the reset button in the small hole next to where you plug the headphones in? I find this usually works if mine will not turn on or is frozen.

The sending unit is behind the distributor on top of the block. And if the service engine light comes on, most auto parts stores like Pep Boys will check your car for free, and if it only comes on while running but not while driving that will steer you in the right direction. But I would try this first, reset the computer. To reset the computer in your vehicle all you need to do is disconnect your battery for 5 minutes, then reconnect your battery and your computer will start fresh, if a there is a problem a sensor sends a signal back to the computer.
Twin units can be two airconditioner condensers and/or two furnaces. Most manufacturers make a twinning kit that will wire two units together to operate simultaneously by one thermostat. At times, one may operate as a first stage of heating (cooling) and then the other unit can operate as second stage. Twinning unit are beneficial in commercial buildings where the load conditions vary constantly. For instance, if you twin two 4 ton units together. On a nice cool day, you may only need 4 tons of air conditioning. So, the thermostat will only turn on one unit. On a hotter day, you may need 8 tons of air, so the thermostat will turn on both units. In case you are thinking about doing this, the biggest mistake in twinning units together is using a common return air for the furnaces. Make sure you separate the return air cavities and ductwork for both of your furnaces If you don't have separate returns, you have the possibility of one of the blowers starting backwards. (talking form experience LOL)
Your Fat Boy does not have a conventional flasher unit like on the older cars and bikes. It has a turn signal cancelling unit on it that is a flat looking box about 1/2"thick by about 1" wide and about three inches long. On the Fat Boy, I THINK it's located on the frame between the tanks. It has one large plug on it with a lot of wires going into it.
What is the unit doing or not doing. These units are pretty dependable and usually don't give any trouble. But, they are expensive and you don't want to buy one unless you need one. I have a trouble shooting guide that I'll send you. It's far too much typing to type in here, four full pages with pictures. Contact me directly at [email protected] and I'll send it to you.
Turn off the unit via the standby button on the remote and pick "passive standby". Next time you turn it on the epg will be back. The other option is to turn off the unit via the power switch at the rear of the unit.
Well we have eliminated the laptop as a problem,.. that is very good. As far as what the problem with your BA unit is,.. we only know that it does not function with an external device (laptop and mp3 player). you already mentioned that a sound test from the unit plays through all the speakers,. right? With that lets start with the most basic item that will cause this problem,.. the cable that comes from the BA unit and plugs into the laptop or mp3 player. Is the cable plugged into the right place on the BA unit? Does the cable disconnect from the the BA unit? if so, do both ends of the cable look the same or is there 2 ends (maybe red and white) that plug into the BA unit? Please let me know when you can and we can continue troubleshooting this.
I have samsung yepp YP F1. After full charge, it only appear "loading" and somebody told me to reformat the unit. My question is how do i reformat the unit. thanks - - ronnie
It might be cause by a corrupt firmware. You need to have a utility that restore the mp3 player to its original setting. i had exactly the same problem with my ipod shuffle 1st generation 2 years ago. Good thing Apple has that utility for me to download and until no it is still working. Try to visit and upgrade the firmware using this link for you mp3 player http://support.rcaaudiovideo.com/downloads.aspx?product=192
The Opal has a reset hole on the back of the unit in which a toothpick (non metallic) can be inserted to reboot the player. If this does not work, I suggest that you reformat the player by using the WindowsTM format command on the unit. To reformat the memory
Right click on the device within the Explorer or My Computer window
Select the format command (full format) to reformat the internal memory of the device.
