you can fix it ...its simple..just reset the player to factory settings...the procedure will be given in the instruction manual and its easy to do it.thanks for using fix ya. please dont forget to rate my solution!
unplug your usb cable first goto into settings phone settings connectivity USB and change it from data service to Mass storage then plug your phone back in and it should be found.
as a mass storage device then just copy your downloaded songs to the mass storage device...
Basically ya must go control panel ... Device Manager .....select ya sound adapter and "Remove hardware/Driver" when asked if ya want to completely remove .... say YES & finish..
Then restart ya PC, and windows will/should detect ya hardware/sound-card and ask for the "Drivers" point it to the "Drivers" either on CD or files on Hard Drive...
IF windows doesn't "Detect" & "Just Work", Well then ya sound-card has probably faulted.. ya could try another PCI slot... to be sure... but it looks like at this stage ya drive is borked.
All Right, Hot Pokie, you have to use the synchro function on WMP or Go to My Computer if the former doesn't work. Plug you Sansa In and It will show up as a MTP player ( If you Dont have it showed up set it to MSC in Options) Go to Media then music then browse until you find the song and kill it by right clicking and selecting DELETE. This may mess your songs if you don't do it right and if that happens I am a jibbering idiot. JK. Go to Recovery mode as shown in Fixya. Hammervich Amerikov. See ya and thanks!
