HP D7360 Touch Screen Display in some non English languate, how to I restore factory defaults or change language to English. I think language Asian. I can not read the language on the touch screen display.

    go to settings and using up/down until you see English. Only then you press ok. GL

    e-barua, oon the Touch Screen Display I see 4 square icon's in non English. The icon on the bottom Right from memory is the Settings icon, under that I see two pages of selections from print test page and etc,. Somewhere there is a language Icon, but with the strange language it is hit and miss. I will keep at it before I contact HP. e-barua, I wish you a good week and thank you for the suggestions.

    I can not use the settings since everything under the settings is not in English.

    If you do have a HP D7360 and you can map which touch screen display is the Language preference I may be able to hit it. Thank you for the response.

Try this: 1. unplug all cables from back of unit (turn power off as well) 2. while the printer is off hold down the * and 5 3. while holding them turn printer on 4. continue to hold buttons until display reads 'Permanent Storage Init' 5. then release buttons 6. at the end of reset it will ask you to select language and location, just press enter then 1 to confirm Hope that works!! Ed PS. You could have picked an easier language!!!

Hi,

See solution below:

1. Turn off the printer.
2. Press 'select' and turn on the printer. (select button should be pressed while turning it on)
3. press '-value+' to choose your language
4. press 'select' to save
5. press 'go' to return to ready mode.

These are possible solutions. Try one of the following:

Change the language selection during initial setup

After you select a language, Language appears again on the display. To change the selection:

1 Press or repeatedly until the language you want appears on the display.

2 Press to save.

Select a different language after initial setup

1 From the control panel, press or repeatedly to choose Setup.

2 Press .

3 Press or repeatedly to choose Change Printer Default Settings.

4 Press .

5 Press or repeatedly to choose Language.

6 Press .

7 Press or repeatedly until the language you want appears on the display.

8 Press to save and exit.

Restore hp pavillion dv9700 back to factory settings its language is polish and i want it back to english

Hi, Once you have reset it to factory settings, go into control panel and there you should be able to see language settings. Once done reoot your laptop and everything should appear in English. Also, use google to translate polish words into english so that you know that you have changed languate settings.

Changed the language by accident looks like japanese and no matter what i do it wont go back to english

uninstall the driver ..and reinstall it in English ...
be sure you delete any settings during this ...
if you were talking about the language that is using to display on the device ...look on the manual if it has a button that restore it to the factory defaults..

Hp 2410 language

Press Setup, 5, 3 to resort the system to factory defaults. Also you can do Setup, 7, 1 to change your county/languages.
