I have a 2005 chrysler town and country. It has the combination radio/CD player. Just yesterday I put a CD in, but instead of it switching automatically from the radio to the CD, the radio just kept playing, there is no symbol on the display showing there is a CD inside, and it won't eject. HELP! How do I get the CD out? Also, I just had the car in for an oil change service the day before. Could the dealer have done something?

    Hi to all,

Actually we got the CD working again, by accident. My husband first tried bocc's suggestion of trying to use two credit cards as tweezers to pull out the CD unsuccessfully. Then he just held in the "CD Eject" button and mysteriously -- the CD ejected! A little later we reinserted the same CD and it works fine. All I can figure is the CD was somehow misaligned and the credit cards/tweezer must have re-aligned it. Anyway, it works again -- for now.

Mine did the same thing. I had to replace the entire unit. You can buy them on Ebay and look on youtube for installation removal video.

SOURCE: cd stuck in my in dash player in my car

recently had this problem, take two credit cards or id, and use them as tweezers to pull out cd(s). It works better, faster, and does little to none scratches on your cd(s).

2005 chrysler town and country how to attach aftermarket dvd player to factory screen?

The best reply for this is to see a radio teck that fits wireless into cars as they have the gear , looms and connections and the know how to do the job without upsetting the ECM program. IT will be money well spent especially if you use an accredited radio technician.

This is an internal issue with the radio. As long as you don't suspect its intermitantly losing power then the only other option is the radio will need to be repaired or replaced. Replaced being the better choice.

Just bought 2005 Chrysler Town and Country and no remote and no Wireless headphones for dvd player! Where do I get replacements?

Naturally you could get them from Chrysler parts, if you want to save, go to radio shack and let the associate there check out the jack and he can come up with an inexpensive solution.

2005 Chrysler Town & Country Radio & DVD problem

I had the same problem.

Open the front hood and go to the fuse box under (right next to the battery).

Replace the 20A fuse labeled RDO/Power

I am sorry that the owners manual does not even mention this.
