You have to go to Video subtitles settings and turn it off. In some TV's its called closed caption off. You may even have a one touch option on your remote labeled subtitle or a logo of a TV screen with three dots at the bottom ( indicating writing on the screen )
I can't get my VBR334 to keep subtitles ON. After I turn on subtitles, if I (a) pause playback, (b) hit the Next button or (c) Fast Forward, the subtitles go away. I have spent many cell minutes with Vizio and even got a replacement unit. Once I updated the firmware, the subtitles started breaking. Anyone else hit this problem?
As I had stated, it is NOT a P50HDTV10A! It is a VP50HDTV204! if you can't get that right, I feel
that you could'nt fix any problem. All I'm trying to do is get a manual for a Vizio VP50HDTV204 television.
it is quite easy to play those anoying subtitles
first name the same way both files (video file and subtitle file)
example
movie.avi
movie.srt
be sure that both files are in the same folder
second:
insert the cd/dvd in the yht-630
when the menu appears select the subtitle file using the arrow keys and press the "subtitle" key after this at the screen you will see -> subtitle selected
finally select the file that contains the movie (again arrow keys) and press "ok" or "play " key
the movie will start and the subtitles will appear.
it functions with sub and srt files
