iDevices (iPod, iPhone, etc) usually can only be managed through iTunes. So the first thing you should do is install iTunes (you can download it off Apple's website).
After installing iTunes and connecting your iPod, you must open My Computer then double click your iPod's icon. Then, click on Tools, Options, and in the View tab check the "Show hidden files and folders" option. You should then see an "iPod_Control" folder. Inside it there'll be a "Music" folder, with all your songs. Just drag them back to your computer.
But remember: you can only manage your iPod's music through iTunes. If you add or change songs on your iPod without using iTunes, these songs won't be recognized.
for syncing of songs in apple ipod u need to have itunes downloaded from google. then u import those songs into itunes and then syn it in ipod with previous songs removed
1. Have you tried charging your Ipod from another source other than the computer? Maybe a car charger for an Ipod or a kind that can be plugged into the wall. Ipod chargers are very inexpensive. 2. If that doesn't work try rebooting your Ipod with your Ipod program you were given to manage your Ipod.
3. Make sure that when downloading songs that they are Ipodcompatible, meaning that they are mp3 ready. Before downloading a song you should be able to see the credentials the song has for downloading. Most of the time if the format cannot be changed to being mp3 ready, most likely the song won't convert to your ipod.
make sure on itunes it says sync all selected songs(make sure all songs you want to download are selected)then try to sync it again if thats not your problem it could be a bad i pod
Make sure th songs are in the correct format - p.25 of user's manaul -
iPod shuffle does not support Apple Lossless, WMA, MPEG Layer 1, MPEG Layer 2 audio
files, or audible.com format 1
heyy....simply uninstall ur itunes and then again download the same version of itunes frm apple.com.....if the next time u connect ur ipod with ur new itunes and in case iff the songs get erased...(in case u have kept syncronizing automatic)...the simple download a software called RECUVA frm RECUVA.COM....WHEREIN ALL UR ERASED SONGS CAN BE OBTAINED BACK.......enjoy.............cheers!!!!!!!!!!
Then click on itunes 7 and download it. Once you download and install itunes, you are able to transfer all your songs from your computer onto the ipod. Or you can go to the ipod music store to purchase songs.
regarding videos: you'll probably have to convert them in order for them to fit onto your ipod. You can easily just google 'ipod video converter' and download one from there.
