My ionic pro 200B won't turn on after cleaning. I've had it for 9 months & cleaned it many time before but this time it wouldn't turn on after cleaning.

i have the same problem after cleaning it it turned on with a sound like frying stuff .and it goes to red light which means clean..but the blades are clean i dont know whats goin on but theres a smell in the unit which i cant tell what kind any one can help?
I found that the buzzing can be removed by blowing out the unit,
cleaning the blades and taking a long cotton swab and alcohol to
thoroughly clean the corona wire - carefully - don't break it. The wire
should be clean enough that the slider/wiper runs smoothly up and down
the wire after cleaning. If it drags or is rough to slide, you will
still have noise no matter how many times you clean the blades. The
wire gets a "crust" on it.
This unit is a pain in the @$$ to disassemble but it CAN be done. The way I always look at it: Someone ASSEMBLED it.
Remove the four screws on the bottom stand followed by two screws on the bottom side of the unit. Then remove the tiny little screws up each side that hold the grill together (you will need a precision screwdriver).
Carefully pull apart- don't force it.
One half comes off (clean that half) in bathtub. The other half does not come off-vacuum that half out and use q-tips.
When re-assembling, watch for two things: First the wire cleaner (that slides) runs on a track on each half- pull it out a little to best allow for fitting. Second, there are little tabs at the top that fit under the control panel-watch for those.
If the plates are clean, there is nothing wrong with them. They are just 3 strips of metal... they don't even connect to each other unless they are in the unit. NO NEED TO REPLACE THEM.
