Question about Canon MV900 Mini DV Digital Camcorder
I cant tranfer captured video on my PC. I have a windows xp operating system and when I am connecting it to my PC it always says that the device is malfunctioned. Where can i get the software that i can install to my PC for me to be able to transfer my videos????? Please help me!!! Thanks!!!
The camera should work fine in XP without a driver (none exist except for Mac OS). The problem sounds like it could be the transfer cable - are you using the original one? Some of these cables are specific for certain models. Even if the cable looks the same and actually plugs in correctly, a standard replacement may not work. If you can give me details of your location, I can try and source an original cable for you if you need it. Try the camera on another PC to see if you get the same message, and try every cable you have or can borrow. Hope this helps :)
