Problem for Philips CD4451S/05 Phone
CD445 Answering Machine records message eve when caller hangs up
My phone company upgraded my service to a digital modem for phone service and now the answering machine on the CD445 records all incoming calls even when the caller hangs up. Is there a setting for the dial tone detect or a timing setting that can be changed. I'm tired of coming home to 15 messages of silence from telemarketers that hang up when the machine answers.
The answering machine work perfectly before the upgrade.
