Take it to the shop and have them test the charging system. That way you don't buy a stator that you can't return then find that the problem was the regulator or the rectifier.
I set it to 1k ohm and it pegged out to the far right side of meter. So I tried dcV and it showed on 250 or 500 12V constant with the bike running or not. I do not have a tach on the bike thanks.
Put a volt Ohmmeter on the battery terminals. When at1300 rpm the reading should be 14+ volts.
