Question about Samsung SGH-t629 Cellular Phone

Front side and back side of my phone got separated

The two parts that compose the 'slide' in my t629 got separted after i dropped it on a hard floor. the flim thing that connects thost two parts of the phone is still intact so the phone does work, but i need to get the two parts together. could anyone help me in putting them back together again?

My flex cable is disconnected. How do I replace it? I dunno how to take the two pieces apart. Please help me.

Looks to me you need a new flex cable and maybe a lcd screen if it cracked. i have repaired these before. flex cable on ebay is about 15-17 bucks, and the lcd is about 180 and up.

You would need to actually start to compose a message or atleast open your messages to create one. Then you can slide open your keyboard to use the great qwerty feature

the strip that connects the keypad with the other circuitry is damaged. you need to repair it or replace will be checked by an expert technician of mobile that either it is to be replaced or repaired...

flip and slide mobile have this kind of problem..moreover, it depends upon the usage of phone for flip/slide...
don't use it roughly, next time , it needs a lot of care..

For solving this problem please flat cable (jumper) which is connected sliding LCD circuit.

So long as the flex cable is not damaged it is possible but can be difficult. All I can do is wish you luck in your repair.

Slider popped out

Unless part of the plastic slide has broken off, you can simply "snap" it back in place. Being careful you my need to use a little force but it should just snap back into the track.

Backlight is not actually lighting up the keys
