IS this caused by old IE, Netscape, Mozilla, Java?
Some people have the ability to run the timer down to zero on
backgammon when they are losing. the game will then FREEZE
and time out in 20 minutes. no points are lost.
These 'cheats'' do this when they are losing,.
Is this caused by me having an old version of IE, browers,Java? etc?
-   Sorry Dageezer, you did not understand the question.
IE is not freezing... the pogo TIMER cheat is doing something to cause the 60 Forfiet Second Clock timer to run down to ZERO, then 'freezes' and the LOSER does not lose.
The question is,, If I upraded IE or Java, would that prevent the cheater from performing his 'trick'
As for CHROME.... I am UNABLE to 'turn off popup' blocker. The instructions to do so.. are not correct.
-   I agree there is a certain type of timer cheat that is not obvious like the no timer or the 99 set with 5 mins per move. This type of cheat can run the game down. The game freezes and when you come back it shows no change in points for the game. This of course allows the cheater to win nearly every time and so they have an 88% success rate.-   bblcwl
