Screen brightness keeps going down.

Hi, Just wondering if anyone can help me with this problem I have started having with my Toshiba M30 Laptop. Whenever it goes onto sleep mode when you turn it back on the screen brightness has always turned down to the lowest level. How can I stop this from happening? It has only just started doing it.

Its because it has gone into power saving mode, you need to go into the power/battery settings and set the brightness at 100% and then choose that setting as default.

How to increase brightness of toshiba satelite m30 laptop

You should be able to adjust the brightness by holding down the function key (Fn) and then press the button that has a picture of the sun and a plus + button by the side of it. You can also adjust the brightness on a more permanent basis by looking at the power settings within the operating systems control panel.

Luminosity of screen too low

I'm not familiar with that specific laptop, but there is usually a Function key, labeled fn on the lower right by the space bar, and then when you look at the keyboard, some of the keys have small pictures in the same color as the writing on the function key (usually blue) look for the picture that looks like a sun with an up arrow. Most laptops let you adjust the brightness that way. Just keep holding down function and pressing the brightness up key.

Screen keeps going bright

I am sorry but this means that the screen might be busted. the impact might have damaged the luminous controller inside the screen. You might need to find a replacement for the screen if that is happening.

I had a similar case where the screen was gng very bright but this was due to a cabling fault of the screen.

TOSHIBA M30 DISPLAY PROBLEM

the inverter only control the back light this is the bright or dim in the lcd the blurry or funny images would be the lcd or lcd cable the only other thing is the 1 in 100 shot of it being a motherboard issue (video on the motherboard). the best thing to do is take the lcd out and try a lcd from another laptop maybe a friends laptop that uses alike lcd this does not have to be the matching size just matching lcd cable connection. be careful the cable should go on with ease no force if you have to force the cable on to the try out lcd then it will not work.
