My mp3 player doesn't player

If you are using the Sony Sonic Stage software, then it might be
a good idea to just format the MP3 player and start over downloading music to it. You have to use the Sony Sonic Stage software or else it gives you the NO DATA BASE error, even if
you have music on it.

My mp3 player doesn't player

i think you're just dragging and dropping mp3's into it instead of using a program to load the music in. this mp3 player doesn't play mp3's, it uses it's own media type and makes a database of all the music in it. download sonicstage or MP3FileManager ( and start loading music in that way.

Most likely you have too much music on the device.

The player needs some free space to create the Database with the Artist, Album info.

Connect it to your PC and delete several tracks.

Best of Luck.

'no database'

The Database error is generally because the device does not have enough free space to create the database ( or GUI ). Delete some songs off the device and that should solve it. You should generally keep 6MB free for every 2 gigs of music. Please add to the question for additional assistance. Best of Luck.

Frozen on Refresh Database

Take out the four screws on the back and pop out the battery then put it back on. Make sure you synced the songs properly. Add to the problem how you added your songs and I might be able to help.
Good Luck
