Our lx40 was running fine, had to move it to clean. Shut off the breaker, cleaned, put unit back in place, turned it on and it filled up nicely. Unit wan't quite level, attempted to level it after shutting off the breaker. (did not drain machine-machine was full of water). Turned breaker back on and now it won't even light up. No idea what happened or how to troubleshoot.

- I have already pulled the drawer out, which reveals the circuit boards. I have not checked the fuse, nor can I say that I saw one. Is there something else that I can check as well, while I am there?Apr 08, 2009
- The macine is used in a commercial application. I have pulled the back upper right servicepanel and I do not see a transformer or fuse, just lots of wires bundled together. I looked at the fuses (2) on the left as described and tested with multimeter. Both appear to be fine. Checked the powerblock and recorded 210 on the meter. I did find two wires which appear to not be connected. Both could have come off terminals possibly when the drawer was pulled out. They both end near the right side block terminal. One wire is light in color and the second is black in color with a peach colored plastic protector over the connection. This machine does not utilize a pigtail power plug, but has been hard wired.Apr 08, 2009
- The terminal block has 3 poles and then a ground plate/screw. The first two (left to right) have red and black respectively, with the third pole open. The ground wire is in the ground and a third wire has been fitted with an adapter is is connected to a seperate terminal block directly to the right of the main wiring connection. The wiring in the building is three phase, but that is all that I know concerning the electrical components. The model is a LX40 Hot, ml-104356Apr 09, 2009
- I found the fuse you were referring to locatedon the bottom right near the motor. It was in fact blown and it has been replaced. I tested the transformer as suggested and have no reading of power in or out. I traced the 'in" wires back to the terminal block and there is no power here either. There is still 210 coming into the main block. What would you suggest next?May 01, 2009
- Ok. I am back. I have checked the t-former near the motor and in fact it was bad. I have a new one ordered from Hobart on its way. Upon tracing the two loose wires (From the above post: "I did find two wires which appear to not be connected. Both could have come off terminals possibly when the drawer was pulled out. They both end near the right side block terminal. One wire is light in color and the second is black in color with a peach colored plastic protector over the connection".) I have determined that they are the (2) 120v wires which come off the transformer. My final question is related to where these should be attached in the sliding tray. One is black and one is white/tan.
