Normally the keys on a keypad are standardised in designe. Please go through the cataloge you may find the english version of the keys equivalent if you dont find the details then consult the shop from where you picked up the equipment for obtaining details through the customer support.

Have you tried contacting Logitech to see if you can buy replacement keys. They may help you.
They are great keyboards, especially late at night in dim lighting.......

I recently replaced mobo of nv 52, now keyb doesnt work optimal, only 689+-8[yrewkl 1 keys. tried playing with connector, no dice. i type with onscreen kb now. plse advise

If your external keyboard works fine then it is most likely your laptop keypad problem. otherwise the replaced mobo has problem in its keypad connector point. was it a repaired mobo or completely new one?
Keypad is cheaper in e-bay but buy with caution. there are too many without obligation to humans.

Hello sir i need your help regarding my accer lap top key board my shift and at the rate key not working when i write email address what can i do please tell me where as my key board is ok

Hi Zulfi,
The standard keyboard language and widely used setting is "ENGLISH (US)"
Set the Keyboard layout to English US so that you have standard keys for symbols etc. like @ sign with SHIFT+2 etc.

The keyboard layout / Language of your PC may have been changed, so follow these steps to select the International keyboard layout:

- Go to Control Panel - Region and Language settings
- On the Keyboards and Language tab, click Change keyboards.
- Click Add.
- Expand the language that you want. For example, English (United States).
- Expand Keyboard list, select the United States-International check box, and then click OK.
- In the Default input language list, click Language name - United States-International (where Language name is the language that you selected in step 4), and then click OK two times.
- In the Regional and Language Options dialog box, click OK.

I lost my question mark ... How do I get this back

Hi, if you're getting an e with an accent on it when you try to type a question mark, you may have the French keyboard layout selected. To change it back to the English layout, follow these steps:
In Windows Vista/7: 1) Click the Start button and click Control Panel
2) Underneath Clock, Language and Region, click Change keyboards or other input methods
3) Click the Change Keyboards button
4) Under Default input language, make sure English is selected. In the Installed Services box, delete any languages you do not need by selecting them and clicking the Remove button. Make sure you don't delete US!

I can not type anything, sign up. the key pad is confusing tyoing dfferent things

Your keyboard has a "keypad-lock" key, to switch the keys from typing letters to typiing numbers in a layout like an adding machine.

Or, since Windows supports "foreign" keyboards (German, Spanish, French, Norwegian), where the layout of the keys is different, use the "Regional" settings inside "Control Panel" to select the "USA English" input-method.

Keys Confused on logitech ultra-flat keyboard

You have to change the KB language to US-English. It seems that you got the European layout set up currently.

Go to Control Panel and select "regional & language settings". In the tab marked 'regional options', select "English (United States)" from the drop down menu. If that is already the selected option, then choose "English (United Kingdom)" instead. That should solve the issue.

Cheers!

Logitech keyboard,s keys are not working

Modern keypads arent as great as old ones where each key had its own switch and you could just open and fix it. new keypads have everything interconnected inside them. The only thing to do is buy a replacement, But if you really love this one keypad, you could try and clean it out with a blower and make sure the keys that are failing arent failing because of dust or unwanted debri.

On my logitech keyboard Y-BH52 my back slash, comma, forward slash and bracket keys are typing in what looks to be french characters such as A's with accents on them...if you could provide any assistance...

hmmm it seems by mistake you have changed your key-board layout to french language.
  • Hold down Alt and press Shift. (Alt+Shift). Check the result by pressing thoes keys. If its back to original means you have installed both English/French both and can toggle pressing Alt+Shift.
  • Otherwise goto Start -> Control Panel -> Regional And Language Option.
  • Click on Language Tab, then Details button.
  • Now in settings tab you can see the languages installed on your system. You can remove un-wanted or/and select a default languages which you want.

Please post your feed-back
Thanks

Hi,
You need to reflash ROM. Operation is a bit risky, if you don't follow the procedure. Consider upgrade to WM5/WM6.
