-   Yahoo Email (new ver) - having sort of a failure. I can log into my email OK but, thats about it! None of the buttons (ie reply- new- delete- move) none of them work - at all?!? I read a little something about Yahoo having a problem with the email software or mail service... I'll say they have a problem.

OK, so can we fix it? How? I haven't seen anything from Yahoo telling us anything about it!

Maybe theirs don't work either. Damn!-   Guest

I had a similar problem, where I could get to MyYahoo page, but when I clicked on my Mail I was directed to a generic error page stating that I was not connected to the internet or that the web site was experiencing problems.

I logged out of Yahoo, then logged back in and the problem was solved. I think I know the event that might have caused this.

I have two Flickr photo-sharing accounts, and have to log out of one to get to the other. Now that Yahoo owns Flickr, the account IDs are the same as my Yahoo account IDs. I had moved from one account that I use for mail, to another account that I never use for mail. That other account has had its mail privileges removed due to lack of use. (I confirmed this by further research.) So when I attempted to go to my mail, I was actually going to an account that no longer exists.

Hope this helps someone with similar issues.

If your using the BETA version and your having problems flick back to the old style. If your on dialup yahoo is very slow but then again if your on broadband you will experience no problems. Its as fast as yahoo can be!. Yahoo have a page for assistance just click on the support and help pages http://www.yahoo.com.....they're pretty helpful mind you, did you know yahoo is free email. Well ours are way down here in New Zealand.
