My HP Pavillion zv5000 power problem

Mx HP zv5000 will not charge. In order to get it to charge you have to manipulate the power cord in the the back of the computer. It feels like something is loose in the pin area of the a/c connection. Do you have any idea if I can get this fixed, or is it worth getting fixed? If it is worth getting fixed, how much should I pay for this service?

Just fixed mine again!
you need to solder 2 wires to the computer connection then chop of end of cable so that you can solder together. Make sure you get them round the right way!
