Did you download the advertisements that PCH offers when playing their mini games? The gwy 4944 is the giveaway from them.. Also ensure that you have the correct website when using PCH: pch.com
there are a lot of fraudulent websites that seem to play like they are PCH but really they aren't.
Go to Control Panel -> Programs and Features
Check in there for anything that is referring to PCH and PCH Elite Prize Patrol. If there is something there remove it using that program. Also, can you give us the names of the programs that were installed if you know them?

PCH.com often has problems with the sweepstakes on their website. Usually, I just give it a day or two and it seems to sort itself out. Good luck!
