How do i upload the pictures from my i532 polaroid camera?? i need help asap

The best way to transfer pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program, such as Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ).

Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

Pictures are not uploading

It may be that the connector inside your camera is de-sodlered from the circuit board, as this connectors are very tiny and the solders too, refering to the USB cable and effort to insert / extract it.
Or if you are lucky, just th USB cable out of order, did you try with an other cable ?

I encountered this desoldered connector on the camera of my father, I arrived to re-solder it once (very difficult as pins are less than .2mm from each other), but it deos'nt hold very long.
To be sure, when USB cable is connected, try holding it pressed gently to the direction of the circuit board (generaly to the direction of the back or to the face of the camera), if you arrive to connect (PC will show the opening window), this is it.
No sheap solution to repair it, But you could always use your camera end dowload your pics with a card reader, just have to extract the card from the camera and put it in an universal reader, you faind it anymhere on the net at low prices.

Generaly speaking, you should best use a reader with the card out of the camera, and keep the direct connexion with USB cable to the camera for absolute necessity, as this connectors inside the camera are fragile.

Hope it will help, feel free to feed-back or complete.

I was given a Polaroid i532 digital camera to download photos from but I don't know how to do it.  do not have a manual.  please help.

You would first need to load the software to the computer so the camera would be picked up when you attach with usb. The computer will automatically detect and connect the camera. You will be prompt for the function you wist to perform, which is pretty straightforward
