My screen is not cracked, under the screen is straight lines and vertical lines when I turn the power on. my daughter jumped in the middle of the screen.

Likely the screen got wet and was damaged.

If it is likely that there is still moisture in it, turn the device off and soak it in a bad of uncooked /dry rice for a couple day (unless you can get a hold of some large Desiccant bags to use) and it should sap the rest of the moisture out of it for you.

You don't. You might be able to replace it if you knew how but you can not "uncrack" or patch it like a window shield ding.

Sorry to hear this Jennifer. First thing that comes to mind is that it is a crack in the under screen glass. You can test this by applying slight preasure on each side and see if you see any rainbow colors or if you lose the PITURE on the screen. Has it show a screen on both sides of the line? These tablets are known to have issues relating to even the slighted shock or sometimes its caused due to surges from the charge unit. If you have this happen and it does get worse it is about 40 dollars to have a new screen installed. Ill follow your post to see if I can help you further.

See the pictures below
if your whole screen shows an image and the cracks are in front of it then its just a cracked digitiser
if you dont see the whole image and tyou see horizontal and vertical line or an image like spilled liquid then your Lcd is also cracked too


this is a broken Lcd (the screen is distorted by the lines or no picture at all)


this is just a broken digitiser (the screen below the broken glass works fine )

I have a nextbook premium 8 SE tablet. What ever screen I am in even when it is turning on it has two horizonial lines.

Unfortunately, if the display is cracked, you will need to take your daughter's tablet to be serviced by a repair technician. Otherwise, you will not be able to see anything on its screen or make the touch matrix work.

try connecting it to a pc with usb cable if it charges then its the power supply if the same issue occurs then the device has a problem most likley battery is faulty
